Revealing the Prince of Darkness
The Vision
The location was Tallahassee, Florida. It was the opening night and almost time for Robin and I to join our team in crusade meetings. We were expecting signs and wonders, and ready for a powerful outpouring. As we were preparing, the Spirit of God flooded our hotel room in a very unusual way. This supernatural presence continued to move in and increase until the Spirit of intercession overcame us. Out of our spirits rushed a mighty river of prayer and communion. In this sacred place, the light of God illuminated our room and the walls disappeared. We understood that a prophetic revelation was about to unfold.
As Robin interceded strongly beside me, our faces now covered with tears and the presence of God beyond description, I heard the booming voice of the Lord say, “There is a spirit that wants to destroy ministry, break covenant, usurp authority, steal from my people, and keep my children trapped with the same patterns that he has used in generations past.”
Immediately, my eyes were opened in the realm of the spirit and I could see him. The spirit’s visage was firm and calculated. His stillness, coupled with his massive size, made me to know that he has been on assignment for generations. The Holy Spirit clearly revealed him as a calculated, long-term strategist who exercises territorial methods of destruction to rule. Many names, Scriptures and descriptions were spoken to us in the ensuing hours, defining, describing and exposing this age old spirit.
This was the enemy of mankind. This was the inciter of self-seeking, the fueler of disputes, and the motivator of wars. I knew immediately that this was the obstacle that has hindered the children of God from receiving His fullness.
The experience lasted 45 minutes…..
