They said He wouldn’t live through the night…
The Doctor predicted David would not live through the night… and as the world prepared to shut the book on him, God was already in the process of writing a brand new chapter.
Early Sunday morning between the hours of 3:00 and 4:00am we received word that David, a faithful church member and IMI student, was in critical condition at a local hospital. David was working cleaning our beaches from the infamous and very unfortunate oil spill, when his friend, a fellow IMI student, turned to find him laying lifeless on the beach.
When the medical team saw David they did not have hope that he would live through the night… The diagnoses was very bleak. David is a young man in his early 40s. He is very strong and healthy. This event seemed surreal and unprecedented.
Almost immediately word reached Ps. Robin, and she began to pray. Dr. Harfouche was in Virginia preparing to minister several services, but did not hesitate when he heard the news. He took authority over the spirit of death and spoke the Word of the Lord to our team on the ground! Empowered with another report, Our team went straight to the hospital and began to intercede for David’s life. They pressed through barriers and into his hospital room, speaking the Word over him and binding the contrary report.
When the time for our Sunday morning gathering approached, Ps. Robin was preparing to minister, when the Holy Ghost stopped her… and strongly directed her to stay in prayer. She sent word to the congregation,”it is not time to have church as usual!” It is time for some ‘earth shaking- devil defying -book of Acts -prayers’ and some serious Christianity!
Miracle Faith Center Global Church responded with fervency and boldness as the ‘order of the service’ was overlooked to allow for the urgency of the Spirit to have His way. The atmosphere was tangibly charged with faith and though the people were standing for at least an hour and a half.. they were not weary of the purpose for their prayers.
Ushers were running to the front holding papers with reports of how David was responding to the Word being spoken to him!
“When the Word is spoken he moves his legs, his arms, even attempting to sit up!”
Report from the team continued:
“He opened his eyes!”
“He is squeezing our hands when we speak the positive report to him.”
Church continued to pray through our Sunday night gathering…and as the reports continued, the tangible presence of faith became more evident!
“He will not let go of our hands.. he squeezes tighter whenever Dr. Harfouche’s message is spoken or the chuch is mentioned”
“Movement has increased over the last 30 min!”
The Church was energized with shouts of celebration and the willingness to continue in unstoppable faith!
If the enemy would have had his way… David’s story would have ended early Sunday morning. He would have died… in a hospital room, with no family present, with “John Doe” as his last salutation. The enemy has no right to steal what God has given! The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope (NLT).” God has a prosperous life and a bright future in store for us!
Currently, David, is recovering supernaturally. We have shifts of people praying 24 hours a day. This is a miracle in motion!
