Be a Contender Not Just an Attender

Jesus delivered a spiritual force of faith that you can release through revelation in the Word of God that will produce in your life the God quality of living but it is not going to work the same for the passive as it is for the contender…the champion.  It is not going to have the same measure of power nor the same expeditious or quick performance for the passive as it would for the contender.  Neither is it a faith but it is the faith so the definition of how it works must predominately be examined in the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ and the early church.  If He operated in a faith that worked expeditiously accelerated and without limits and then handed that over to men and women then it is His intention for you to safeguard and keep that faith in your life.  Why? Because you cannot live the way God wants you to live without implementing the power that God has given to you.  That is why you have chosen not to listen to the pretender and to not just be an attender but you are an earnest contender.

There was a man that didn’t even own a Bible that could not even read that had enough sense to know that although he was born blind what he heard about Jesus was the truth.  So he began to say, “I will not be a pretender. I will not be an attender, but I will be a contender, Jesus son of David have mercy on me.”  And he began to shout like a radical. God is not looking for a quiet people, He’s not looking for a passive people, He’s not looking for an inactive people, He’s looking for a radical people that will contend for their miracle in God. He didn’t know; He hadn’t even been to one intensified training session. But he had one ounce of sense in him, he knew, “If the Word is walking by me, if there is someone here with an anointing that said the Spirit is on me, if there is somebody here preaching this message – then this is the answer to the world.”

I’ve had it with preachers saying well lets get down to reality, no lets get up to revelation!  Because it doesn’t matter what people call reality the atheist reality is there is no God, God’s reality is there is no atheist.  Glory to God!

How many are not going to sit on the sidelines and allow the enemy to limit you?  How many of you know you’re not going to live a repetition, you’re not going to live like they lived in the 80’s, you’re not going to live like they lived in the 90’s, you’re the end time generation of God.  You’re going to contend! That means fight for the faith that was delivered for the saint’s safekeeping. Be the Champion God created you to be!
